Hailey DeMers

With the spunk of Dolly Parton and strategic vision of Simon Sinek, Hailey DeMers has an incredible knack for crafting a tapestry of stories that preserves the legacy of the Engler program. She is a weaver of talents, tools and techniques that challenge others to ‘get in the game’ and support those who have already stepped into the arena of entrepreneurship. From virtual to oral history, and all the other ways in which we engage our own community members and external stakeholders, Hailey is our creative lead. At the heart of Hailey’s talent is to be the singer of songs, the writer of melodies, the builder of relationships and a dynamic stage presence. Her ability to engage with people and understand the complex dimensions of communications is what makes her an invaluable member of our community. 

Chances are you will see her behind a camera or microphone at any given Engler event capturing magical moments of connection. Her heart for relationship building is at the core of everything she does, and her enthusiasm for people is infectious. As Chief Creative Officer, Hailey DeMers serves as the voice of Engler by developing and enhancing our comprehensive communication strategy as well as investing in the next generation of communication professionals through the guiding of our student communications team.  

Before joining Engler as a staff member, Hailey worked for Frontier Cooperative as a Marketing Brand Manager where she developed and grew Frontier’s brand through executing digital marketing and sales strategies as well as organizing a variety of promotional events. Hailey has had a profound impact on the Engler program since she joined as an undergraduate student. As a junior in college, she spearheaded the creation of the culture team which still is in function today.  

Hailey is a gifted musical artist who understands on a personal level the courage it takes to bring big dreams to life. Outside of her role with the Engler program, she serves as the lead vocalist in her band, Pioneer, and has written and released songs Is It a Dream and Home is Where the Asphalt Ends, both of which can be streamed on Apple Music and Spotify. When she’s not crushing it on stage, you will find her spending quality time with family and friends or gallivanting around the globe with her husband, Josh.
