The Lewis and Clark expedition is an example of grit and innovation we discuss often in the Engler program. There is no doubt in our minds Brennan Costello would have been an invaluable member of the Corps of Discovery. Brennan is a pioneer at heart and is never afraid to take action. His futuristic nature empowers students to imagine entrepreneurship beyond their college experience.

    As our Chief Business Relations Officer, Brennan is extremely knowledgeable about small businesses in Nebraska. He works to provide experiences that connect students to real life entrepreneurs through events such as the Engler Fireside and Nebraska Trek. Brennan is a big-picture thinker and believes in connecting entrepreneurial education to anyone who wants to start a business. Brennan is an expert in identifying connection points to help people run their businesses more efficiently.

    Brennan leads classes on idea generation, negotiation, and prototyping. He also facilitates Build Camp, The Venture Laboratory, and the $50 business challenge. He has a variety of experiences in diverse entrepreneurial ventures including being involved in several start-ups. His experience as a National FFA Officer makes him a dynamic facilitator that challenges students to learn by doing. He also serves as the coordinator for our Launch Program which partners with Nebraska FFA to help FFA members start and scale businesses while they are in high school.

    Starting a business is a journey with many twists and turns. Sometimes it is difficult to calibrate your compass. If you feel lost in the wilderness of entrepreneurship there is no better guide to help you chart your course than Brennan. When he is not coaching Engler students, chances are Brennan is fine-tuning his latest woodworking project or enjoying a cup of tea with his wife, Lauren.
